The scene
She didn't settle for being called queen.
Hatshepsut took the full title of pharaoh — the crown, the ceremonial beard, the statues of a king. She ruled for about two decades, sent expeditions to the land of Punt, and built one of the most beautiful temples in Egypt into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari. After her death, her images were chiselled away, face by face.
Scene 02 holds both versions: the one who ruled, and the one they tried to erase. A name erased. A story that remained.
